Heatherwick Studio has been commissioned by businessman and entrepreneur James Perkins and his wife, Sophie, to reinvent a new future for Parnham Park estate in Beaminster, Dorset.

Building upon the studio’s experience of working with heritage buildings such as Coal Drops Yard in London, Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Laverstoke and Cape Town’s Zeitz MOCAA, we will develop a new creative vision for the site that features a main house, originally built in the 16th century, which was redesigned by John Nash in 1810.

Over the last twenty years, James Perkins has been responsible for large-scale restorations at several prestigious historic buildings across the UK including Aynhoe Park, Dowdeswell Court, and the Round Tower.
